Battery information available in more places

The battery information for the DOC AI Cams is now available in a couple of places: in the new Sidekick and on our new version of browse.

Note: If you are using adaptor cable then the battery health won't show. The new batteries have an additional connection to allow this measurement.

Battery on Sidekick

The latest version of Sidekick now shows the state of the battery when you connect the camera.

You can also see the current and historic battery voltage on the new version of browse: https://browse-next.cacophony.org.nz/. To see this, click on devices on the left hand side and then select your camera. The battery graph is on this page.

Occasionally the camera makes an incorrect reading which means you will see glitches on this graph. We are working to reduce these, but hopefully this will still be helpful.
